i. The Software

This booking engine runs on infrastructure built for travel agents in the 1990s. That is just how the industry works: rate codes, perk abbreviations, cancellation terms buried several clicks deep, and a UI that has seen better decades. It is not intuitive. We are aware, and we have made our peace with it. We are also fluent in the things that tend to trip people up, room categories that do not match what the photos suggest, cancellation policies written like a legal exercise, deposit terms that vary quietly by market and booking channel. If something on a screen does not make sense, ask. We will translate.

ii. What You'll See, And What You Won't

The portal is comprehensive but not complete. There are properties, rate programs, and room categories that live in channels the booking engine will not show you. About a third of the time we come back with something better, a rate that does not surface in the booking engine, a fourth-night-free promotion, a room category that changes the character of the stay.

iii. The Tricky Requests

We also handle the requests that are harder to slot into a booking form: connecting rooms, rollaway configurations, suite setups for complicated groups, the quietly specific preferences that hotels handle better when someone they know makes the call. It takes thirty seconds to ask.
