    About us.

    We're Ryan and Renae. Two people who have spent their careers in hotels, Ryan on the industry side (front desk, Wynn Resorts, TripAdvisor, Expedia), Renae running a luxury travel agency for 7 years. Between us we have lived in 7 countries and slept in more hotels than we can honestly count.

    Peninsula Papagayo is a 1,400-acre master-planned development with four very different luxury resorts on it. The marketing copy makes them sound similar. They aren't. We'll help you pick the right one.

    For Costa Rica trips where the lodging matters as much as the rest of the country, we'd love to help.

    Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Hyatt Privé, Ritz-Carlton STARS, Hilton Impresario, plus Virtuoso. If you're better off booking elsewhere, we'll tell you.

    Same Price, More Value

    We match the resort's direct rate. You pay the same (or less), with perks direct bookers don't get. Always free to you.

    VIP Perks Included

    Complimentary breakfast, property credit, upgrade priority, early check-in / late checkout. Specifics vary by property, we'll send the exact breakdown for whichever you're looking at.

    Two People, Not a Call Center

    You work directly with us. We will give you a straight read on which property fits which trip.

    Before You Arrive

    Pre-Arrival Coordination

    We coordinate with the property ahead of your stay to flag preferences, push for upgrades, and handle connecting rooms or villa setups. Clients booked through our preferred-partner channels are flagged as VIPs on arrival.

    Rate Monitoring

    Prices drop after booking more often than you'd think. We monitor your reservation and rebook at the lower rate when we find one.

    Once You're There

    On-the-Ground Support

    If something comes up, a Prieta Beach Club reservation, a last-minute zip-line booking, anything, you text us and we handle it directly with the property.

Five restaurants, a serious kids' club, and the deepest spa on the peninsula. The service is consistent Four Seasons polish, predictable in the best way. Best for multi-gen families, golfers, or anyone who wants reliable full-service luxury without surprises.

    Andaz Papagayo opened in 2013 and was designed by Costa Rican architect Ronald Zürcher to feel organic and locally rooted, tropical hardwoods, dramatic open-air public spaces, and a hillside layout that runs down to Culebra Bay. The vibe is more casual than Four Seasons; the food scene at Ostra and Chao Pescao is the best on the peninsula. World of Hyatt members can earn and redeem points.     Nekajui opened in 2024 as one of fewer than ten Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties worldwide. The Reserve brand is the most exclusive tier Ritz operates, smaller scale, deeper design language, and a per-property aesthetic rather than a corporate template. Nekajui sits on the peninsula's quietest stretch, with treetop bungalows and beachfront residences set into dry tropical forest. The food, spa, and design language are all unmistakably more ambitious than a standard Ritz-Carlton. Best for travelers who already know and prefer the Reserve product, design-forward couples, or anyone wanting the newest, lowest-density option on the peninsula.

    Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique is technically just north of the Peninsula Papagayo gated community, on the next point of land up the coast, but it gets included in the conversation because it shares the same airport, the same Pacific stretch, and a very similar guest profile. It's the brand's first full-scale Central American resort and is positioned as the ultra-luxury anchor for the region. We book through the Hilton Impresario program for the full VIP perk stack.

    Hacienda AltaGracia, an Auberge Resort

    Highland wellness retreat in the Pérez Zeledón valley

    AltaGracia is Auberge's Costa Rica property, but inland, in the cloud-forest highlands south of San José. It's a 50-casita all-inclusive wellness-leaning property with horseback programming, a serious spa, and one of the best dining programs in the country. A completely different Costa Rica trip than Papagayo: cooler, greener, more contemplative. Worth considering as a 2- or 3-night add-on before or after a beach week.

    Las Catalinas

    Walkable beach town with rentable villas, south of Papagayo

    Las Catalinas is a planned car-free beach community about 40 minutes south of the Papagayo airport. It's not a single hotel, it's a town with several hotel options (Hotel Esencia, Beach Town Hotels) and a deep inventory of privately-owned rental homes. A different model: walkable, town-square energy, multiple restaurant options outside a single resort, and excellent for families with older kids who want more independence.

    Origins Lodge

    Ultra-exclusive boutique above Lake Nicaragua, in the far north

    Origins Lodge is a 12-suite, owner-operated property in the remote highlands of northern Costa Rica with views to the Nicaraguan border. Inclusive of all meals, drinks, and excursions. The food program is one of the most ambitious in the country and the setting is genuinely jaw-dropping. A different trip than Papagayo entirely, slower, more remote, more intimate. Worth it for a 3- or 4-night stop.
